Role Overview:
The Creative VA (Specialist) will be responsible for end-to-end content creation, editing, and social media management, with a strong emphasis on initiative, strategy, and consistency. This role goes beyond task execution and requires independent thinking, proactive improvements, and ownership of creative workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Video & Audio Editing
- Edit short-form and long-form videos for social media, podcasts, and marketing content.
- Handle audio cleanup, enhancements, and syncing for podcast and video recordings.
- Create engaging clips, reels, and highlights optimized for different platforms.
- Apply branding elements, captions, transitions, and basic motion graphics as needed.
- Ensure timely delivery and consistent quality across all content.
2. Social Media Management
- Manage posting schedules across relevant platforms (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, etc.).
- Optimize content formats, captions, hashtags, and posting times for engagement.
- Maintain a consistent brand voice and visual identity.
- Monitor performance metrics and suggest improvements to increase reach and engagement.
3. Creative Strategy & Initiative
- Proactively suggest content ideas, formats, and improvements without needing constant direction.
- Identify gaps in content output and propose solutions to maintain consistency.
- Take ownership of creative workflows to reduce management overhead.
- Anticipate needs and flag issues early rather than waiting for feedback.
4. Workflow & Process Ownership
- Establish and maintain efficient editing and content production workflows.
- Organize files, assets, templates, and content calendars.
- Collaborate closely with the client to align on goals and priorities.
- Implement and follow quality control checks before content is published.
5. Tools & Technology
- Proficient in video/audio editing tools (e.g., CapCut, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, or similar).
- Comfortable learning new tools and platforms as required.
- Able to follow and improve documented processes and SOPs.
Required Skill Set
Technical Skills
- 5+ years of experience in video and/or audio editing.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and content optimisation.
- Ability to work with multiple content formats and platforms simultaneously.

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to manage priorities without constant supervision.

Experience Profile
- Proven experience supporting creators, brands, or businesses with consistent content output.

- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, creative environment.
Skills/Knowledge/Tools:
Canva, Capcut, Logic pro, Podcast editing tool knowledge

Minimum Technical Requirements:
