Social Media & Content Production Specialist – ACTIVE

Shift: Part-time, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM US Eastern Time. That is 9:00 PM to 1:00 AM Philippine Time while US daylight saving applies, and 10:00 PM to 2:00 AM Philippine Time after it ends. Communication via Slack and WhatsApp.

Role Overview

We are looking for a resourceful, creative and tech-savvy Social Media & Content Production Specialist to support Matt, who works with business leaders, founders and independent professionals to develop their stories, strengthen their market presence and create engaging media.

The goal is a reliable, end-to-end workflow. Matt records a client interview or podcast episode, hands off the files, and trusts that the content will be edited, repurposed, organised and published professionally and on schedule, with minimal supervision.

You will take raw recorded content, primarily video interviews and podcasts, and turn it into polished, engaging content ready for distribution. We are not necessarily looking for an advanced video editor or a high-level marketing strategist. We are looking for a content-savvy digital producer who combines technical skills, strong communication, editorial judgment and initiative.

Key Responsibilities

Video and Audio Editing

• Use Descript and similar tools to edit podcast interviews and create short-form social media clips
• Add captions and prepare finished content ready for publishing

Social Media Management

• Manage scheduling, posting, formatting and basic account administration across platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube and TikTok

Content Repurposing and Content Marketing

• Turn longer recordings into short videos, social posts and other assets tailored to each platform
• Identify the most interesting moments in a conversation and apply good hooks, storytelling and platform-specific best practices

AI-Assisted Workflows

• Use tools such as Claude, ChatGPT and AI-enabled editing platforms to improve efficiency, automate repetitive tasks and streamline production

Production Management

• Organise media files, maintain content calendars and track deadlines
• Make sure content is consistently delivered and published

Required Skills

• Excellent English proficiency, both written and spoken, with the ability to write natural, polished, professional English for a primarily US business audience
• Experience managing business or professional social media accounts
• Competence in basic video and audio editing, with Descript experience strongly preferred
• Comfortable learning and using AI tools, including Claude and ChatGPT
• Good editorial judgment and an understanding of which moments in a conversation make compelling social media content
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to work independently

• Mac preferred but not required
