Shopify E-commerce Team Member – ACTIVE

Shift: Full Time, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week. 9am to 6pm AU time (includes 1 hour unpaid lunch/break).

Role Overview:

Rob is looking for an experienced Shopify E-commerce Team Member to support the day-to-day management and maintenance of his Shopify store. This person will take ownership of product updates, website content, Shopify functionality, and the testing of new apps and features to ensure the online store remains accurate, functional, searchable, and well maintained.

This is a full-time role suited to someone who is already confident working within Shopify and can work independently while being proactive about identifying improvements.

Primary Mission

Keep the Shopify store accurate, well organised and running smoothly – uploading and maintaining products, keeping website content up to date, and proactively testing and reporting on new apps and features so the internal team spends less time on day-to-day store maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

• Upload and update products within Shopify.
• Maintain accurate product information across the website.
• Write and update product descriptions.
• Upload and manage product images.
• Ensure products are properly organised and searchable on the website.
• Make routine updates and adjustments to Shopify pages.
• Test new Shopify apps, features, and functionality.
• Identify and report issues affecting the Shopify store.
• Support the implementation and testing of new Shopify tools and features.
• Maintain accuracy and consistency across product listings and website content.
• Proactively identify opportunities to improve the Shopify store.
• Complete other Shopify-related tasks as required.

Required Skills

• Solid hands-on Shopify experience.
• Previous experience managing an e-commerce store or Shopify environment.
• Confident managing product listings and website content.
• Understands how products can be structured and made searchable online.
• Comfortable testing Shopify apps and new features.
• Detail-oriented and highly accurate.
• Can follow instructions without needing them repeated.
• Proactive and comfortable taking ownership of their responsibilities.
• Strong written and spoken English.
• Can work independently while communicating clearly with the team.

• 3-5+ years of relevant experience.
• Previous e-commerce experience.
• Strong Shopify experience.
• Experience working with Shopify apps and website functionality.
