Digital Marketing Specialist (Marketing VA) – ACTIVE

Job Application Code: 003810JO (add this to the application form)

Shift: Part-time, Monday to Friday, about 4 hours a day (20 hours a week), 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM US Pacific Time to start. That is 1:00 AM to 5:00 AM Philippine Time while US standard time applies, and 12:00 AM to 4:00 AM Philippine Time during US daylight saving.

Role Overview

We are looking for a focused Digital Marketing Specialist (Marketing VA) to support Jennifer, the Chief Revenue Officer of a growing counseling practice. The practice has a clear goal of growing client inquiries 3 to 4 times, and a strategic plan to get there.

This is an implementer role. You take the team’s strategic plan and run with it, manage your own task list and report results without being chased. You will report day to day to Mike, the Marketing Consultant, and work alongside the Content Manager, the Digital Growth Director and the X100 team. You will also take part in the X100 AI marketing course and coaching program.

You bring marketing experience on day one, so the team teaches its process, not the skills. The role is fluid and will grow as the practice scales, so you should be comfortable picking up new channels.

Key Responsibilities

Core Priorities

  • Email campaigns: run and optimise email campaigns in the email CRM and track their performance
  • Google Business Profiles: post regularly, keep each profile up to date and lead a profile optimisation project
  • Podcast outreach and light PR: research relevant podcasts and media, pitch the team as guests, and manage follow-ups and bookings

Ongoing Support

  • Website updates: publish blog posts produced by the content automation and make page updates in WordPress (Elementor). No development work
  • Directory listings: manage and optimise the practice’s profiles on directories such as Psychology Today
  • Social media quality check: review AI-generated social posts before they go out for accuracy, brand voice and mistakes
  • Digital marketing channels: support Reddit and other channels as the strategy grows
  • Marketing research and data: gather performance data, research competitors and opportunities, and support new channels and objectives
  • Light editing: basic podcast and video edits and YouTube uploads
  • Coordination: keep tasks moving between Mike, the content team and the X100 team

Reporting

  • Weekly email update to Mike
  • Monthly PDF report on campaign, profile and outreach results

Required Skills

  • 3+ years in digital marketing, with marketing know-how the team does not have to teach, including social media, analytics and website back ends
  • Hands-on experience running email campaigns in an email marketing CRM
  • Experience managing and optimising Google Business Profiles
  • Comfortable in the back end of WordPress with Elementor
  • Able to read marketing analytics and turn them into a clear weekly and monthly report
  • Strong written English for US audiences, for outreach pitches and client-facing posts
  • Available 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM US Pacific Time

Nice to Have

  • Podcast guest booking or PR outreach experience
  • Healthcare, mental health or therapy practice marketing, including directories such as Psychology Today
  • Reddit marketing
  • Light podcast or video editing and YouTube uploads
  • Experience reviewing AI-generated content

Tools

  • Email CRM (to be confirmed), Google Business Profile, WordPress with Elementor
  • Psychology Today and other directories, Reddit and email
