Working Structure

  • Part-time role: 20 hours per week
  • Preferred schedule: Monday to Thursday
  • Suggested structure: approximately 5 hours per day to maintain consistency and workflow continuity
  • Participation in weekly marketing cadence, including Monday sprint kickoff
  • Ongoing collaboration with Arman and the internal team via Trello and Google Workspace

This structure is designed to ensure steady progress across the week, enable feedback loops, and support consistent execution rather than batch-based work.

Role Overview:

This role is responsible for executing Employee Matters’ marketing strategy through structured, consistent, and high-quality content production and distribution.

The position sits within the marketing function and works closely with Arman S. Haghi and the internal team to translate strategy into repeatable execution.

The primary objective is to ensure that marketing activity moves from ideas into output — reliably and consistently.

This role is not responsible for setting strategy. It is responsible for implementing it with clarity, structure, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

Content Marketing Execution

  • Create and prepare content aligned with the existing marketing strategy
  • Support a video-first approach to content creation
  • Develop multi-format content from core ideas (video, written, visual)
  • Maintain consistency with Employee Matters’ tone, positioning, and language
  • Ensure content is prepared and ready for distribution across all relevant channels

AI-Driven Content Production

  • Leverage AI tools to support content creation workflows
  • Assist in increasing content output without compromising quality
  • Support research, drafting, and structuring of content using AI
  • Follow defined prompts and frameworks provided by the marketing lead

Content Distribution

  • Ensure all content is distributed across relevant platforms (LinkedIn, website, email, YouTube, etc.)
  • Adapt content formats for each channel
  • Maintain visibility of content schedules and publishing timelines
  • Support consistent posting cadence

Marketing Operations

  • Execute structured, repeatable marketing tasks
  • Maintain and update Trello boards and task workflows
  • Support the content calendar and scheduling system
  • Follow documented processes for recurring marketing activities
  • Assist in building and maintaining simple SOPs for repeatable tasks

Measurement & Reporting

  • Track marketing activity and content performance
  • Assist in maintaining reporting dashboards and tracking sheets
  • Collect and organise data across platforms (e.g. HubSpot, website, SEO tools)
  • Provide simple summaries of performance and trends

Core Ownership Areas

This role will take ownership of:

  • Leveraging AI to increase content production capacity
  • Supporting the measurement of marketing activities and outputs
  • Ensuring consistency in execution of repeatable marketing workflows

Execution Responsibilities

Periodic / Repeatable Tasks

These tasks will follow clearly defined processes to ensure consistency and efficiency.

  • LLM Optimisation Research and Content Development
  • Competitor Research and Content Development
  • Authority Positioning Research and Content Development
  • Repurposing high-performing content into new formats

Each task will be documented as:

Defined steps → Clear expected outcomes

This ensures tasks are executed consistently without needing to be redefined each cycle.

High Priority

  • Reddit engagement and community participation strategy execution

Low Priority

  • FAQ page content development (structured, not ad-hoc)
  • Multimedia versions of top-performing blog content

Success Indicators

Success in this role will be measured by:

  • Consistent weekly content output

  • Reliable execution of repeatable marketing tasks
