Job Description
Professional, independent, Australian-owned information-security organisation. Established in 1999 and has consistently delivered solutions to customers in the financial, legal, utilities, education, transport, insurance and government sectors.
Tim is looking for an appointment setter—someone focused on getting leads to book in calls with you, so the client can handle the closing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation: Identify and research potential leads through various sources including online databases, social media, and industry events.
- Outbound Calling: Reach out to potential clients via phone and email to introduce our cybersecurity solutions and understand their security needs.
- Appointment Scheduling: Coordinate and schedule meetings between prospects and our sales team, ensuring accurate calendar management and timely follow-ups.
- Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions with leads in our CRM system, including contact information, conversation notes, and appointment details.
- Lead Nurturing: Engage with prospects through follow-up calls and emails to build relationships and move them through the sales funnel.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on key performance metrics such as call volume, conversion rates, and appointment setting success.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to share insights and contribute to campaign strategies.
Other Details:
Outbound Calling Requirements
- 40 calls/week to new leads to book meetings
- 40 calls/week to existing clients
- Target of booking 8 attended meetings per week
- Use HubSpot CRM integrated with 3CX virtual PBX to make calls
- Provide VA with call scripts/decision trees, but they need to be able to have natural conversations
Lead Generation & Other Tasks
- Use tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator to identify/update leads in CRM
- Potentially assist with writing/posting monthly newsletter and blog content (provided by Tim’s team)
- Update/clean up CRM records
- Allocating time for sales calls and CRM updates in a new hire’s schedule
Requirements:
- Clearly well-spoken.
- Good (low-lag) network connectivity.
- Motivated but not to the point of being overbearing and rude.
- Experience with Hubspot
- Criminal history check and two references.
Tools:
- CRM – Hubspot
TEST:
- Tim will test VA candidates by having them review his company website and call him to try to convince him to book a meeting, simulating a sales call

Minimum Technical Requirements:
Internet Speed: Download: Minimum 50MBPS, Upload: Minimum 20MBPS (will be checked live during your Zoom interview)
Computer Specs: 16GB RAM computer (Windows OS or M1/M2 Mac).
Back up internet (a MUST): Fast internet and Mobile Data (Personal Hotspot)
