Social media management and content creation for multiple brands

Key Responsibilities:

1. Social Media Management

• • Content creation as top priority, focusing on LinkedIn and Instagram
  • Posting frequency: Daily for Instagram/Facebook, 2x/week for LinkedIn
  • Tasks include creating carousels, quote templates, basic video editing for reels
  • Repurposing content across platforms (Instagram → Facebook)
  • Community engagement and follower growth
  • Consistent content calendar development

• • Daily content creation & posting on Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
  • Brand-aligned messaging & content curation.
  • Content repurposing (e.g., converting Instagram Reels into TikToks).
  • Community engagement (responding to comments, messages, and growing follower base).
  • Basic video editing for short-form content.

SEO & Hashtag Strategy:

• • Basic to intermediate SEO knowledge required for optimising social media posts. Must stay up to date with platform algorithms and trends, providing insights and recommendations on what’s performing well.
  • They follow a specific hashtag strategy for each platform

Video Editing Tools:

• • Level of proficiency should be Intermediate– Able to edit short-form content, apply transitions, enhance audio, add captions, and optimize for different platforms.
  • Familiar with tools like CapCut, In platform applications, imovie, etc

2. Email Marketing & Automation

• • Create fortnightly newsletter, potentially increasing to weekly
  • Develop automated email sequences for programs (e.g., 21 Day Daily Practices)
  • Transition email marketing from Squarespace to Shopify
  • Utilise ChatGPT for content generation (Michelle has custom GPT setup)

• • Creating & managing email campaigns (weekly newsletters, promotional emails).
  • Ensuring brand-aligned email design & copywriting.
  • Automating email sequences using Shopify’s email marketing tools.

3. Funnel Strategy & Growth Marketing

• • Assisting in building marketing funnels to drive engagement & sales.
  • Developing strategies to grow email list & customer base.
  • Collaborating on corporate gifting outreach strategy.

4. Paid Ad Content Creation & Strategy

• • Designing & preparing ad creatives for Meta & Google Ads.
  • Working alongside existing Google Ads consultants to optimise campaigns.
  • Transitioning away from Meta ad agency once contract ends.

5. Personal Branding for Michelle & Her Husband

• • Helping create content that strengthens their credibility in their fields and corporate space.
  • Assisting in content planning & execution for personal Instagram & LinkedIn accounts.

Additional Creative Tasks

• Assist in developing taglines and brand messaging
• Create e-books and e-guides, brochures, marketing material, pdf’s etc
• Organise digital files and assets

Tools: 

• Shopify (email marketing & storefront)
• Canva (content creation)
• Meta Ads & Google Ads (basic understanding to support ad strategy)
• Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok (social media management)
• Basic video editing tools (for short-form content creation)

*While Shopify experience is preferred, it is not mandatory since the business model is simple.
