Role Overview

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing our overall marketing strategy, managing social media channels, overseeing email marketing campaigns, optimising our website, driving SEO initiatives, and managing various marketing projects. This role requires a creative and analytical thinker with strong project management skills and a proven track record in digital marketing.

  • Experience in updating and optimizing websites for search engines
  • Managing online advertising campaigns

  • Maintaining and managing website content and functionality
  • Enhancing SEO strategies
  • Running effective SEM, Facebook Ads, and Google Ads campaigns

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing, with a focus on strategy, social media, email marketing, SEO, and project management.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns.
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing tools, platforms, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in using marketing software and tools such as Google Analytics, SEO tools, social media management platforms, and email marketing software.
  • Creative thinker with a data-driven approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Marketing Strategy:
    • Develop, implement, and oversee a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with our business goals.
    • Conduct market research to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for growth.
    • Create and manage marketing budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
    • Liaise with any third-party marketing agencies

       

  2. Social Media Management:
    • Develop and execute a robust social media strategy across all relevant platforms.
    • Create and curate engaging content that resonates with our target audience.
    • Monitor social media performance and adjust strategies to improve engagement and reach.

       

  3. Email Marketing:
    • Plan, execute, and optimise email marketing campaigns to drive engagement and conversions.
    • Segment and manage email lists to ensure targeted and personalised communication.
    • Analyse campaign performance and provide insights for continuous improvement.

       

  4. Website Management:
    • Oversee the management and optimisation of our website, ensuring it aligns with our brand and marketing goals.
    • Work with web developers to ensure the website is user-friendly, responsive, and optimised for SEO.
    • Regularly update website content to reflect current marketing campaigns and initiatives.

       

  5. SEO Strategy:
    • Develop and implement an SEO strategy to increase organic traffic and improve search engine rankings.
    • Conduct keyword research and optimize website content for SEO.
    • Monitor and analyse SEO performance, making data-driven adjustments as needed.

       

  6. Project Management:
    • Lead and manage various marketing projects from conception to execution with team members.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
    • Track project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.

       

  7. Analytics and Reporting:
    • Monitor and analyse the performance of marketing campaigns across all channels.
    • Prepare regular reports on key marketing metrics, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
    • Continuously evaluate and improve marketing strategies based on data and feedback.

Salary Offer: Minimum Au$2,000 per month

Tech Stack:

  • Website analytics tools (Google Analytics and Google Search Console are a must)
  • SEO tools such as Ahref (is what we’re using for SEO but if they have experience with similar tools such as Semrush, Moz Pro is okay too – depending on what client uses)
  • Google Adwords
  • Project management software (Asana, Trello, Notion, etc – depending on what client prefers)
  • Social Media: Meta for Business (Experience in creating and setting up facebook, IG ads campaigns), LinkedIn Ads
  • Email Marketing platforms
    • ActiveCampaign (is what we’re using)
    • Salesforce
    • Mailchimp
    • Hubspot

Minimum Technical Requirements:

Computer Specs: 16GB RAM computer (Windows OS or M1/M2 Mac).

Back up internet (a MUST): Fast internet and Mobile Data (Personal Hotspot)
